When can I camp?

Raceway Park operates 4 months a year as an auto drag racing track.
The only time we offer camping to the general public is each year during the Cavendish Beach Music Festival. For 2016, the festival camping dates are July 7th – 11th.


What does it cost to camp?

We are offering a 4 X 4 Camping Package for the 2016 Cavendish Beach Music Festival! That’s one campsite for up to 4 people for up to 4 nights for $275 plus HST. That’s a total of $313.50!


Is there a shuttle?

Shuttle service will be provided by Coach Atlantic and will run 3 to 4 times per day between Raceway Park and the Cavendish Beach Music Festival site. There are return shuttles each night after the Cavendish Beach Music Festival closes.


What are the shuttle hours?

What are the check in and check out times?

You can check in anytime after 12 noon on Thursday, July 7, 2016. We will be open 24 hours a day during the festival. Check out time is Monday July 11, 2016 before 12:00 Noon.n

Is there parking?

Vehicles can be parked at the campsite, extra parking is available at no charge.


Can I charge my cell phone?

Yes! There are mobile charging stations at the campground, however, please note there are no electrical hookups at the individual campsites.

For the safety of all our guest and volunteers, we ask that our camping rules be observed. Volunteer camp hosts are on site to place campers and answer questions. All rv’s must fit in the designated space and if not an additional camping space will be required – no exceptions.



No outside visitors are allowed on the campground at any time. All campers must have a valid rental and must wear their armband camping pass at all times. Guests who sneak into the campgrounds without paying may be ticketed for trespassing. Any violators of the law may be subject to arrest.


Please lock up all valuables!

including bikes and generators when leaving them unattended and overnight. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property of any kind.


We provide the fires!

No fires are allowed on individual campsites, this includes charcoal grills, portable fire pits and all other open flame devices. Gas barbeques are allowed. We provide outdoor fire pits on the grounds.


Noise & Quiet campground hours

Please be considerate of your neighbours and observe the established quiet time of 2 AM to 8 AM. (No generators, loud music, etc…)



Showers are available on site.



Raceway Campground Canteen will have takeout food at the campgrounds. The Oyster Bed Esso station/convenience store is also located next door to the campground.


We ask all of our guest to respect the rights and privacy of their “neighbours.”

The following policy does not apply to companion animals.
Dogs and cats are the only pets allowed in the campground; however, no pitbulls, rotweillers or doberman pinscer dogs will be admitted to the campground. No reptiles or exotic pets are allowed in the campground. Pets are to be controlled at all times and are allowed at the sole discretion of management. If your pet does not respect the privacy and rights of other campers, you will be asked to remove your pet from the campground.


Alcoholic beverages

Kegs and glass containers are not allowed in any camping area. These items will be confiscated. No drugs or underage drinking will be tolerated on the Raceway Campgrounds.

Anyone caught giving alcoholic beverages to anyone underage or if you are underage and caught drinking alcoholic beverages, you will be removed from the campgrounds and can face criminal charges.



No weapons of any kind are permitted in any area of the campground.



Fighting will not be tolerated and you will be subject to removal and/or arrest.



Campsites must be kept clean at all times throughout the weekend. Bag all trash and refuse and deposit in the dumpsters provided. We appreciate your help in keeping our events clean. Anything left behind will be considered garbage and will be disposed of.



Generator use is allowed outside of quiet time hours provided it does not disturb other camping patrons. Campground management reserves the right to prohibit use of any generator at any time. Talking, singing, radios, televisions, etc… must be kept at a volume that will not disturb other guests. Absolutely no amplified PA system, DJ’s or sound systems will be permitted or operated in any camping area. Have fun but respect others. Anyone acting abusive or causing trouble will be removed from the camping grounds.


Motorcycles & Recreational vehicles

Motorcycles, dirt bikes, quads, golf carts or other unregistered off-road vehicles are allowed at management’s discretion.


Any violation of these rules or federal, provincial or local laws is cause for your removal from the campgrounds and you may be subject to arrest. These rules have been established to satisfy the diverse needs of our guest and to promote safety.
